Loll pieces have been used recently in a LEED Platinum Certified House.
LEED certification, through the U.S. Green Building Council, provides
independent, third-party verification that a building project is
environmentally responsible by
recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental
health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency,
materials selection and indoor environmental quality. The Platinum mark
is the highest level of certification for LEED projects.
Live Green, Live Smart
took on a large project for 2007: A LEED for Homes Pilot Project in the
Minneapolis suburbs, with the goal of surpassing LEED Platinum
